9.5.11 Latest News
hello all.
this is officially my first bit of texty text going up on the blog. it feels somewhat unnatural but I will persevere.
thisgrace has been going since 9th sep 2010. a very poignant date for me for more than one reason. I started out with a very finnicky and glitchy website that I eventually scrapped for this humble blog.
last saturday, 7th may 2011 was "free comic book day" and me and a couple of friends of mine (barry richardson comics and stephen kearney of quiet hell comics) put out a little zine around galway, ireland -specifically in subcity comics (eyre sq s/c) and in bell, book and candle (off sea rd, by the crane pub)- by the name of "flip's sake".
we hope to get even more contributors for the following issues and really mix it up.
we will eventually put up an online version of each issue but only after we have truly exploited the hardcopies.
if you want to submit anything to flip's sake or know anybody else who would, you can send us a mail at flipssake@gmail.com
you can find barry and steve's work in the following locations:

thanks for following!

it is the first in what I hope will be many zines. it's pretty good if I do say so myself. not perfect by any means but they will get better and better. in addition to us 3, there were numerous other contributors who gave us cartoons and articles for the first issue (giles brody, robbie bonham, brian kelly to name a few).
